Pictures from Taiwan tripp!

Upon arrival at the Taiwan International Airport, the ladies in the group decides to take a group picture.

Or more specifically, we were "dragged" by MOM to take our first picture.

Huddling together for warmth from the freezing temperatures of taiwan!
It's winter there at that time =)
Myself/Mom/Ee-Ee/Xi Xuan(sleeping baby) Xi ying(Lil Girl)/ G-Kim/Gramma/
Hao Jie(boy with goofy smile)

Here's a picture BEFORE we flew to taiwan.

Yeap. As you can see, i was bloody exhausted from
staying up all night doing my workshop assignments and sending
them to Victor and Johnny and Chea Wen =) thanks guys!!

Here are a few random shots i took from the streets...

Here's a sight you don't see everyday! =D  Carrying gas on motorbikes.
I wouldn't mess with this guy.
He could cause much damage if he crashed... nuff' said!

Another random shot of the city view from a bystander view.
This guy was obviously rushing off.
Wonder why? =)

View from the bus, a pink thing speeding by.
And lo behold, i manage to capture it's image with my 'semi-pro k700i fon camera'
My lil cousins were all gawking at it =)

I couldn't include all the pictures due to the limited space in this silly blog.

However, upon my visitation of this foregin land called taiwan, i've summed it all up to multiple things.

Taiwan = ChowTauFu+Night Markets+ Dogs+ Tallest-Building-in-the-world-for-now + Japanese food craze + Fancy Skyscrapers+ Super-long-drama-that-takes-forever-to-end.

And yes, taiwan is like a mini japan. They are CRAZY about jap food.
And karaoke.

If you want a show that NEVER ends, and i mean NEVER, always opt for taiwanese hokkien drama. Why? because you get to watch the baby in the show grows up, wear diapers, go to pre-school, high school, college, get married, get betrayed, cry and eventually died of some sort of scandal as his/her wife or husband cheated on him/her... then the company get takes over by some bastard Sonovab*tch which gets a heart attack and dies as well.
in fact, you might soon began to build an emotional bond that a mother would have to a kid.
Except of course, technically speaking the baby doesn't actually exist in your life .

Who said you have to be a mother to experience the joy of giving birth?

Ok, back to the pictures.

First stop upon arrival is no other then the Chang Kai-Shek Memorial building.

First president of Taiwan.

CHeck out the size of the entrance. And that's not even the door to the building.

Here's the view FROM THE FRONT of the MEMORIAL HALL.
And yes, the "entrance" on the first picture is the same as the semi-middle 'building' in this picture.

The whole buidling has three floors, and there was a photo exhibition running, talking bout the origins of hokkien people.
During the olden days, hokkien and hakka are super enemies.
And they practically will kill each other if they see each other.
That of course, only happens in china.

Together with the pictures. i've enclosed the photographer and the date/title. So if you guys wanna look it up, you can. =)

This one has a pretty interesting title.
Everybody having a good time, just by sitting on rocks and walls, chatting away with glee!

Thirsty/Miaoli City

I thought the title for this picture is brilliant!
Thirst for candies. Contradictory statement.
It brings out the kid's expression.

Tug of War/ Miaoli City 1970

Simple games that brings out the competitive spirit in kids.
The "line" is a row of slippers. Creative.

This is one of my favourites. Unfortunately i forget to note down the title.
It shows a group of village kids having fun with TIRES, creating a game by rolling it to compete who can roll it faster. Who needs PSP when you have TIRES?

Girl selling Noodles/ Nei-Wen, Hsinchu 1964

My dad said that during his childhood times, travelling from kl to ipoh would take forever, sometimes days. This is due to the many stops, to load passengers from everywhere.During this stops, there will be people at the station carrying a tray(just like the girl in the picture) filled with nasi lemak and mee goreng (on plates), selling them to the passengers on board. They would walk in the train and yell out "NASII LEMAKKKK, MEEE GOREENNNGGGG"
And just as the train is taking off, the 'train-steward(ess)' would jump off like troupe of expert gymnast...

Taking care of pigs and kids/Nei-pu, Pingtung 1967

Food for pigs, pram for kids. Women are multi-taskers.
Love the pram.

This bring back more fond memories of my own childhood. =)
Having a small bucket of water, and being small enough to squeeze into it!

Herding Young Duckling/HungJiWan, Miaoli City.

This was the main photo for the whole exhibition, talking about the hard work of hokkien people, that even a child at such tender years did not escape the everyday chores in the village.
Children were trained from young to help their parents.

Sweet Native Child/Guanshan, Taitung 1967

This shot is so natural, filled with oblivous smiles at the innocence of a child.

Finally, the statue of a kid whispering to his granny.
Touching ^^.

ps- there are more statues, but this one caught my eye the most!

This vid is at the memorial hall of one of the greatest emporer in taiwan. They constantly have soldiers guarind it 24/7 without moving from the post. In this vid, we can witness the exchanging of guards from their post.

Just got back from Taiwan, and I'm currently residing in Macau, Aunt's place.

Pictures are unavailable at the moment due to the lack of technological resource eg. wires and stuff.

Holidays have the tendency to drag you into a pit of laziness... let me sit at one place and i stay seated (which would probably be great cause it'll induce my flat arse to grow bigger=D ) or it'll make my already large tummy grow larger, and by the look of it probably would explode within a few days.

Is it ever possible to be more "pregnant" than nine months?

Visited the tallest tower(for now) in the world!!! Taiwan 101 with it hundred-and-one floors. Cost 47 yuan each for adults (AND YES I'M AN ADULT SO THERE!) and 37 for kids (?). Went up on a lift that travels 1010 miles per minute (they have something bout 1 and 0's...).

The view was ala magnifico =)

it's like taking a look out of an airplane. All the cars are teeny tiny and the buildings, the size of a fingernail(?)

Did a lot of shopping and smell alot of chao tau fuh(literal translation as SMELLY TOFU).. ewwwwww....

Taiwan reminds me of a miniature Japan. Quite a lot of restaurants have that Japanese influence and Takoyaki AND Doriyaki is one of their famous to-past-the-time snacks!

Night markets rule there. Dogs are second in command. They even sit on scooters... SCOOTERS i tell ya. Imagine that!

Right now I'm just feeling down for no reason.

Miss my last week of sem.. miss my classmates.

Miss taking my bloody class picture.

Worse of all.. miss all my final presentations.

And due one figure which i didn't pass up and probably will drag my already low marks lower.

I think.

I don't want to not fail, i want to pass with a good grade.

Guess it's not gonna happen this sem.

Just hoping i pass without OTP-ing At All..

the hardest part....

Thanks for being such a big part of my life, my better half(or worse) at times switching roles =). Providing the shelter i need from a rainy day, for caring so much more than others.

Thanks for the tolerance you gave when i wield by sharp words onto you. For the countless times when i laugh and you laugh, and times when tears well up in my eyes and you sat beside me, not knowing what to do but listen.

Thanks for the countless stunts you pull to make me laugh. For being that standing ground i need when my world is spinning faster then it already is.

I don't know what I've done to deserve you. But with each waking moment, i thank god I've met you at least once in my life...

For everything.

I will always love you.

Presenting Nikki La Fabulouso!

Adorable lil Nikki =D! that would be my lil bro's voice.

Thought he was taking a picture =)

Time to slow down.

Don't know if i have the strength to do this anymore.

Don't know if i have the strength to move on.

Don't know what i'm doing here anymore.

Decisions to make, people to meet, places to go, things to do...

When does it all come to and end.

When is the director gonna yell CUT.

When is life gonna start waiting for you to catch up?

the answer is never.

time waits for no man .

Not even for a girl who's lost once again in the twisted crossroads of the stony pavements in her life.

Not even for a fallen angel, whose regrets wouldn't turn back time.

Time is cruel, time is heartless. Time pushes you forward, pulls you through it's tide, whether you're willing or not.

Time makes people forget, time makes people regret.

The past.

Look forward

to the Future.

Time is never present when you wants it most, drags you along when you wants it least.

Because time teaches us lessons... Appreciate what you have.

For time is all you've got to waste. =)

Candid Shots from Melaka Assignment TRIPO!

The Bus load filled with people, Owh yeah CD085-1 RAWKIN THE HOUSE YO!

UNfortunately, we couldn't take the whole lot. There are group pictures of course, i reckoned someone in class must've took it =)

Anyways proceeding on to more candid shots.

The Fat and the Blur.

Yeaps. This proves i need to go on a diet, reallllll bad. Haha! bad angle. shoot!

The next picture is OBVVIOUSLY the most AWESOME of the LOT.

Kevin's PRICELESS expression, and Ivan's INFAMOUS look of sleepiness. Durh!

Did i said this picture is PRICELESS?!??!! HAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!

Last but not least.

Say Ahh to Bubba Gumps.

Say AHHHH to scrumptious Shrimps and sizzling fried garlic breads, downed with a glass of fresh, cooling, Lemonade.

One word only.

Yes i notice i'm getting much much chubbier ><
but the temptation of delicious food is just tooooo hard to resist!
How can you be a pure malaysian, without having pure love for Food?

this proves my nationality wey!

Bubbba Gump is situated at the road between Cineplex and The Curve. Plenty of restaurants decorates the sidewalks, and romantic music filled the air, mingling with the delicioous taste of the cooling night air, as the streets are filled with people's loud, excited chattering and the smell of food and spices, bringing on a vacation mood to the bustling scene.

Dinner was on Jonathan Siow! THANK YOU! =DD

There were all kinds of shrimp, from the small, common ones we ate to deep fry palm-size shrimp.

The best part is they're all FRESH and ready to be eaten. =D

The decorations are pretty cool. they have this fancy board in red and blue.

The red says "Stop Forrest Stop" and the blue one says "Run Forrest Run"

Pretty cool!! If you flip over to Stop Forrest Stop, a waiter will immediately arrive at your table, flip the board over, and take your order/

They place everything into a bucket( like those you bring when you go fishing), TObasco sauce, Cilli, Tomato, Pepper and etc.

And they have a basket full of Luxury biscuits, complimentary to take as much as you want.

Finally a little bit of camwhoring before we left with our stomach's bloated up to our necks =D

Ps- The food is rather expensive actually, but it's really a pretty awesome place for a once-in-super-blue-moon dining experience!

Till then See ya!

wouldn't you agree emotions are a bad thing to have? wouldn't you agree life is constantly unsatisfactory..? filled with ups and downs, one moment you are flying high up in the air, the next you're being forced down into the deep abyss of darkness.

At the point of your life when you think you've got it all, a missing piece arise. a broken part, gone. Shattered.

it makes you wonder in admiration, how Adolf Hitler did it all. Emotionless.

It makes you wonder, how great it would be to be cold, cruel and heartless. To not feel mental pain that is ten times worse then the physical one.

A slap may hurt your face, but that depends on the preson who slapped you.

And if that person, is one of your very love ones, the pain wouldn't be from the phsical action, but rather from the mental bashing.

wouldn't you agree?

if only we love and love and never hurt. =)

Halloween at Segi College

Two days before class BBQ, i received a call from my best friend, ANN YEE.
Smart. gorgeous, beautiful ANN YEE.

She asked me to be one of her "Models" for her school's club Halloween Night. Apparently, there would be a runway show going on.

Ann : Sandy!!!! Do you wanna be my model for my school club event??

Sandy: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ann: PLEASEPRETTYPLEASE??!!? i NEED youuuuu!!!!! it's a very SMALL THINGY ONLY. It's really nothing!

Sandy: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ann: Wei,Veven and Tiff will be there. i asked them and they sort of agreed already!

Sandy: REALLY???!?! Great count me in!

Let me say this one thing

Not smart,gorgeous and beautifull anymore!!!!!

When i arrived there, there were rows of MOdelistic WOMEN with nice body and uhm...

I've been Bodified.

The worst part of all was probably that i've never done such a shit as modeling in my entire life, and these DOLLS walked like they knew what they were doing!!!

*jaws drop to the ground, and breaks to a million pieces*
All i could think of was...

Fact number 1, APPARENTLY i WAS NOT NEEDED after all.
Ann just thought they needed someone.

The *tooot*!

After awhile of stumbling around and sticking out my tongue after making a stupid move...

I finally got it right.
i think.

Wise words from Choong, the model director of directors.

"it's just like dancing"

Shoulders back, hand straight, legs crisscross, i felt like a rag doll being pulled by invisible ropes from an invisible wooden cross.

Honestly though, it was all great fun. Tiffany just went crazy with me and we started pulling stunts and dancing on the floor like NOboderderrdeee businessoh!

FIrst we did a bit of waltz(courtesy of TIffany Goh mah teacher)

Then a little bit of Square Dancing(Courtesy of Ann yee, whom taught me this a few years back HOHO)

And then some weird country dance (TIff again, she attended all this cool classic dancing classes)

Then a lot of the Sandy dance, which involve running here and there for no reason, and screaming at the top of your lungs like a red indian.

yeap. Sandy dance rockz .

The best.

So we were al nervously practicing for the runway.

*bites nails*

Did some camwhoring, and took picture with my darling girls =))

Like this.....

My "daughter" who is fatherless. Wei wei the lame ass monkey! =DD

And the winner of the Sandy Dance COmpetition goes tooooo.......

*paper rustling* *drumrollssss* Drrrrrrrrrrrrr......

SANDY OF COURSE MAHAHHAHAHA!!!! here's alex and me showing our move HAIYAKKKKKK!!!!!

Here are more pictures, since i didn't take any. this are all CIPLAK-ted from Mike's new camera.

click the bloody link =D >>>

(the one on the right is Segi's English lecturer. Apparently he came in a "costume" that my Alex claimed is "jesus")

After awhile, the runway still haven't started and we're left to mingle amongst ourself, and we're given "exclusive passes" in the form of a small bit of paper saying

"Chong's Runway MOdel"

Woooooowwwww... i think it says that, or something like that.

My memory has once again failed me... drrrrr......

Can you imagine Sandy modeling? it's like having Babies holding Rifles....

ANyways back to the sole and main reason why i decide to WILLINGLY and EXCLUSIVELY expose myself to unbearable embarassment!

HEre's Why!

These guys =)

Without you guys to there, i wouldn't have stand a chance against all those fantatastic modelistic figures.

Not to mention that i wouldn't even come. =DD

Wei Wei, Ve Ven, TIffany and lastly the evil mastemind, ANN YEEEEEE!!!

thanks for being the few shooting stars that came into my life, and stayed there for good =)

like an irritating stain on my shoes. ISH.

No seriously haha. Deep down from the bottom of my heart(i have a one, albeit small.. hehe ),
i hope we'll remain this way till we're old, cranky and arthiristically prone.

TIll we began to drink Anlene Milk with Straws cause we can't lift the cups...

Till when we were 70,we reminiscence about today, and all the days before this.

The crazy animal names, bunch of donkeys we are.

Even if you guys will never see this post, even if my words never reach you...

i just want to said this to each and every one of you...

i love you!!!!!!!!

Thanks for leaving footprints that can never be wash off by Febreeze or Daia..... Thanks a lot *grumbles*

Thank You for everything =D

"Stupid sandy doing stupid stuff with her stupid blog again"

Now she wanna show you some SKIN wor.

Skin number 1 - A "tattoo" i got from Ministry Of Sound. Btw this stuff cost me RM50 *wails*

And i was underdressed, "overweight" and definitely too tired.

Who goes cluBBing when they feel like that HUH ?!?!?!

I do!

Anyways i put on my SNEAKERS and my white BOXER-LIKE pants and a COLLARED T-SHIRT.

The silver lining was, no one stared at me when i entered.

Plus i've got a free cup of vodka!

Double Yay!

Didn't know vodka is sweet... vodka virgin. Woooooo....

So there we were, myself and Hsu Ann her bunch of friends

And the drinks was served.

Hsu Ann chose the gin while i took vodka.

And there i was sipping thinking "HEy, this ain't too bad!"

and also thinking.

HAH! who says vodka makes people drunk easy hurh???

And i did the smartest thing possibly by gulping the whole thing in the matter or mere seconds.

So there i was looking smug with my "yay i conquered vodka" face.

That's when i step down from the chair, and nearly trip over my own toes...

Dizzy but still sober =).

i told ya!

yay sandy rocks!

But the 'funnest' part wasn't the clubbing really. Dancing was fun.

The 'funnest' part was sleeping in the club!

the musics in the club is just so.... *faints* zzZZZzZZzzzzzz

it lullabies me to an abyss of black dreams.

Euphoria was however, pretty well decorated and rather fancy.

They have this small little cushion chairs that look like potties (little kid's toilet bowls)

And tables that can change lights every second....blur green red yellow wheeeee!

and their club are seperated into three floors. The main one playing techno music, second floor more like a lounge to relax and the third is where i had my sleep. The RnB Section. nice place to ZzZZzZzZ.

Unfortunately, when you sleep in clubs, people think you have a problem.

Every few minutes, a new watchman will watch over the disco-ers. And EVERY FEW MINUTES i'll be poke by one.

Watchman-(pokes at sleeping sandy) Are You OK??

Sandy- *groggily wakes up* Hurhhhh..?? (looks around blurrily then stares up at the large looming figure)

Yeah i'm fine..

Watchman- You sure?

Sandy- Ya....

Few minutes later

Watchman2- *shouts loudly into my ear* HELLO MISS HELLOOOOO!!! *taps my shoulder*

Sandy- *wakes up again* Looks around blurrily and stares up at large looming figure* hurhhhhh?! Ya ya ya..... *sleeps back*

FEw minutes later..

Watchman3(ah mo lang)- *taps shoulder* You Sleeping???

Sandy- *wake up feeling really iritated this time* yaaaaa....

Watchman3- It's a friday! *gives a HUGE GRIN*

Of course i know it's a friggin friday! that's why i'm sleeping GAWD! Can't they liimmmeeee alloonnneeeeee *waillllsss*

By that time i couldn't geet back to sleep cause Hsu Ann and her Friends were done dancing.

Thanks Hsu Ann for letting me 'die' on your bed for a day while you sleep on the couch. haha!

Here's the result of hardcore clubbing.

A "SMOOVE" bruise on the hand, and an insurance card for you to pay more money for nothing. yay!

The card's a membership BTW. And the smoove is a chop lar.

MOving on to the next show of SKIN WHEEE!!!

This show of skin might make you said EWWWWW.

Enough yapping. Let the picture speak for itself....

The HOrroR!

Me sistah's attractive injury! Her nail died(ed) and she went and cut off the dead parts..... Fascinating....

ya i know how you feel.

Proceeding to the next show of skin 3!!!!!

This show of skin is so OBSCENE, so UNREAL, so FASCINATING and SCARY at the same time!

my brother's leg...

On your RIGHT would be MY FOOT and on the LEFT as you can see is My BROTHER's FOOT!

It's as large as mine!!!

Now i can wear my brother's hand-me-down shoes..... sobs!

i shall advice my mom to buy my bro nice nike shoes... HOHOHO!

his hands are also as big as mine.

he's ELEVEN. Geez.

However he's still shorter then me..

I still can bullly him. better take advantage of that before time runs out.

Next is not a show of skin, But an occuring and passing scene of what my sis and me witnessed on the huge LDP highway, on our way home.

Mat Rempit Sederhana. (Rempiting in secrecy and moderation)

So cool right? can try it out next time. IF we're lucky we'll break a leg! night night!

Boh Tea Plantations =)

well welll well

Cameron Higlands was rather...

breathtaking !

And stomach-filling so to speak.

The whole three days i was there, was probably to EAT.

scones , strawberry jam, boh tea, honey, mushroom tempura, longan, manggis. steamboat, durians, organic corns, chocolate, strawberries and the list goes on and on....... and tea at every session in between, with SCONES.

And did i mention that the road to Cameron is SO NARROW that one slip would cause DISASTER to oneself.

And not to mention the traffic jam it'll cause to others.

Anyways here's where the KANCIL would come in HANDY! one slip off the road and it'll fly like a bird!!!!!
All you need to do now, is figure a way to land without crashing and dying, that's all =)

Besides the Fear Factor value to this trip, the view is BEW-TAY-FUH!

Especially from the tea house.

sighs.... =)

Anyway after one hour plus of fear factoring, we finally arrived at our hotel.

the view from the hotel wasn't too bad either =D

sighs... =D

So after having an hour of rest, it's time to travel again.....

On the first day we covered the WaterFall. Went there to look around.

then later at night we went steamboat!

and that's it! end of first day.

So on the second day, things get more interesting.

We went to the strawberry farm, cactus farm, bee farm, pasar malam farm....

all the farms la...

It's hard to describe how nice it was

my cousin took all the fantastic pictures through his so-called D80 "SEMI-PRO CAMERA" .

speaking of which, thanks LENJIN for teaching me all your photography skills =D

here's one shot from the "semipro-NOT' camera.

speaking of photography, let me show you some of MY skillz

Not bad huh for a K77oi CYBERSHOT with 2Megapix!

Semipro phone camera WEI!

everyone: ....

Syok sendiri la tu!

HOHOHO! more updates coming right up!

Now that you're done licking your elbows (or not), Sandy is going to update (like you guys don't ALREADY know) what has been going on last week =D.

Yes as you can see through the title, i assume that most of you would know what I'm talking about. RIGHT RIGHT????

The KL PAC art exhibition was rather disappointing, but thanks to

and definitely NO THANKS to DANIEL KHOO (who could have made it but didn't cause he was too LAZY)

for making it FUN !

Here are a few pictures from the gallery!

Hold your breathe and noses.......

Here's what looked like 'Rotting Flesh' to my 11-year-old-that-is-uneducated-about-the-twisted-ways-of-art-brother.
Or what I-CHING would call La Collage of a Fine artist.

Different people have different interpretation for the paintings i guess..

Kelly like the laces on the painting whereas Justin and Jun admires it in a slightly more different approach.

Like in a violent way.

which kept them laughing and entertained the whole time.

so scary ==""

Next two paintings are the lucky ones i've picked up amongst the BORING few.

These two are the ones i like best! No reason for liking. i just do =D

Orange cups.

Unfortunately i didn't take pictures of any of the gang. Cept in the KTM la.... but most of it are kinda blurry lar....

Besides, evryone seems to be rejected poor sandy!

Nuh! it was just TERRY NG that refuses to be taken =(

Terry-bly naughty.

OH WELL i'll get my chance next time =).

Next post would be CAMERON HIGLANDS>>!!!!! =D
