Mother's Day has not been around since forever! It's been invented by Anna Jarvis on MAY 12Th 1914 for her belated mom in the United States and was made known and official around the world since then. Hence, it's is a pretty 'young' day as it was 'born' in the 20Th century.
But to me there’s meaning seldom heard.
For everything I am today,
My mother’s love showed me the way.
For enriching my life in so many ways.
She set me straight and then set me free,
And that’s what the word "mother" means to me.
Personally i have no likings for miley cyrus (except for the hannah montana shows which are granted, pretty hilarious.) But here's a song that sings out what Mom means to me =)
I Learn From You - Miley and Billy Ray.
-chorus-
'I learned from you that I do not crumble
I learned that strength is something you choose
All of the reasons to keep on believin',
There's no question, that's a lesson
I learned from you '
I learned that strength is something you choose
All of the reasons to keep on believin',
There's no question, that's a lesson
I learned from you '
If there's anything i learn from my mother, i learn to have an open heart.
I learn generosity.
I learn forgiveness.
And most of all, i learn that material goods can never bring happiness like the people you love
It's true that my mom's not much of a cook.
But she's one hell of an organizer and a hostess.
It's true that my mom can't make handicrafts, or doesn't read us bedtime stories.
But she can make a whole crowd roar in laughter, with her off-keyed quips and toothy grins.
My mom is strong-willed woman and a loud one, literally and figuratively.
She follows fashion trends, plays Facebook , and leave messages on my ex's wall.
She complains her daughters are outdated!
And she follows canto dramas,
falls asleep watching canto dramas
and rewatch it the next day after work
and falls asleep again.
She makes all her juniors at work squirm in fear,
and yet she fail to make us listen.
She's inquisitive, and willing. Laughs at her mistakes.
Hot tempered and impatient.
My mother learns English to teach us.
Scolds us when she's wrong
Scolds us when we tell her she's wrong
Scolds us when she's right.
Scolds us when we are slow at getting it right.
A tigress.
Mom...
There's nothing i could say to describe to you how much i love you.
You rock! =)
And i wouldn't want a better mother.
Cause you're the best mom out there.
teehee! =)
So all i wanna say is...
I love you MOM!
Have a great Mumsie Day! =DDD
*coughs*corny*coughs*
but i mean every word. =)
And in another totally unrelated matter, i would like to post this La Work Of Artistry.
This is what's REALLY HAPPENING in those seven weeks of DRAMA class.
Can you spell torture? hehe !
Yes ah-hiao. i still have the picture.
BOOYA! =D
